Etsy Love: Singing in the Trees

When I was a freshman in high school, I took a T.V. Production class. Our first project was to videotape a slideshow of photographs and set it to music. I loved being outdoors, so I thought it would be neat to make a slideshow showing the lifespan of an oak tree – from acorn, to baby tree, to a glorious, full grown oak tree. I took all these photos around my yard, picked out some music, and made what I thought was a great slideshow. Apparently, my classmates all thought it was lame, and for the rest of that semester, everyone in that class called me “tree-girl”. In today’s Etsy Love post, I’m embracing that high school nickname with some gorgeous tree-themed jewelry pieces from Etsy.

Etsy Love: Feels like Spring

Generally, my Etsy Love sets tend to focus on a specific, concrete theme. But on occasion, I like them to reflect something more vague – in this case, the lovely, light feeling that comes with the beginning of spring. All of these items reflect that feeling for me.
