Beach day with my folks last week. One of the perks of living in Florida.
Still progressing in my Summer 12 in 2012 goals. Here’s what I did during Week 2:
#1 – Create a workout plan that I can continue in the school year
This one is pretty much set. I freakin’ love Crossfit, so I don’t think it will be hard to keep it up during the school year. Swimming is going good too, and I’m trying to work more walking into my life as well.
#2 – Swim once a week
Didn’t happen last week, but the beach is in my future, and my swimming there will make up for that
#3 – Try one new Paleo recipe each week
I made Banh Mi Salad, which was awesome. There was photographic evidence, but I accidentally deleted it from my camera. So just believe me when I say that it was tasty, and that cooking with fish sauce smells really nasty.
#4 – Finally buy that co-op delivery subscription
Will do this in a few weeks when money is less tight than it is right now.
#5 – Start eating grass-fed and finished beef (cowpooling anyone?)
Did some more research on local cowpooling options. See above for why I haven’t started yet.
My bike, loaded with groceries
#6 – Ride my bike once a week, for pleasure or exercise (or both)
Rode my bike to take outfit pictures and to buy groceries. Yay!
#7 – #12 – didn’t happen yet, but soon.

The bang mi salad sounds good! I can already think of a bunch of variations – Vietnamese meatballs would be good.
I dont know anything abou the primal diet; it seems to heavily emphasize meat, which sounds expensive! Although it would be worth it if it makes you feel awesome.
I’ve been lurking for ages – just wanted to say that picture of you is freakin’ adorable! Really enjoy your blog – good luck with your 12 in 2012!
