*Every Wednesday, I take a look at some of the beautiful items found at one of the best places for buying and selling hand-made and vintage: Etsy. Buying hand-made and vintage lets you own beautiful, unique objects with character. It keeps things out of the landfills and supports artists and small businesses who are trying to make a living doing what they love. If you have a particular theme you’d love to see, drop me a line and let me know. *
I’ve been doing a bit of antiquing this week, and I’ve become completely smitten with vintage kitchen items. In particular, ones that are sunshine yellow. And I’m thinking of gradually phasing out all of my random chipping Walmart (ugh!) and Kmart dishes and bowls in favor of some of these vintage beauties.

I have some great yellow pieces in my kitchen, particularly a couple of enamel pots that I keep sitting out on shelves instead of tucked away. I should do some reorganization and take a few pictures!

Oooh so shiny and happy! I’ve collected quite a few red enamel pieces for my collection and they always make me smile…not that I cook in many of them, they’re mostly out on display until the everyday stuff breaks
