Giveaway: Nepali Scarf (Closed)

Well lovelies, it’s been awhile since I’ve had a giveaway, so now I have several lined up for you over the next few weeks.  I’m really excited about this week’s giveaway, because I feel that it’s a company whose ethics I really support.  Here’s some information they sent me:

NEPALI by TDM Design’s scarves are sold in Saks, Shopbop.com, Bloomingdales, Holt Renfrew and over 600 boutiques throughout the U.S.

All of our scarves are hand-made in Nepal, using the most gorgeous, high quality fibers such as cashmere, silk and bamboo.  We support over 125 women artisans and are now putting their school-aged children through school!”

Making these scarves provides sustainable income for women in Nepal who would otherwise have few ways to support themselves.  All the scarves are hand-dyed and exceptionally beautiful.

This giveaway is for one of their Bambi large scarves.  It comes in two colors, as seen in the first photo, and in the one below.  The scarves are 100% bamboo and hand-dyed.  You can click the pictures for more information.

This giveaway will run from now til Saturday, January 23, midnight Eastern Standard Time.  It’s only open to residents of the United States and Canada (I’ll be having a giveaway open to everyone soon, so hang tight!)

And you’ve got multiple chances to enter!

For your first entry, leave a comment tellings me how you would style one of these scarves.

  1. I love these scarfs, so cute and lightweight. Perfect for Florida. I would just wear it with a plain color top and just drape it like the second picture shows.
Please give me 2 entrys, I have you listed under my blogroll on my blog!

    Thanks!

  2. Very pretty scarves – I think I would loop mine a few times and wear it with a boatneck 3/4 sleeve striped shirt. The patterns mixing would be funky.

  3. Those scarves look so soft! What a great spring/summer accessory. I’d use it to punch up a basic T & jeans outfit.

  4. Oooh! So pretty! :-)

I’d wear it with that new knot, and this flirty little black skirt I just thrifted, black heeled boots, and my grey twist-neck top. I might wear brightly colored tights, and let the scarf + tights be the only pops of color in the outfit.

  5. 2nd entry: how I would style this scarf. First off, I prefer the red one, as I wear a lot of black (a lot), and it would be a nice contrast. I would wear it long, as she is in the bottom photo, or wrapped around my neck. I would also wear it as a shawl. I have no discernible waist, so I would be unlikely to belt it – although you could pull that off well. I would likely also wear it as a winter scarf, since my coats are black or purple and it would match well.

  7. A pleasure to put you on my blogroll!
I’m not that great with scarves, but I guess I’d fold it in 2, put it around my neck, and tie the 2 ends through the loop. And since I need to move away from blue, the red would work nicely in that quest!

  8. I have to be honest, as wonderful as these scarves are, I would give it to my daughter. She just loves these scarves and she can do the cutest things with them!

  9. Very pretty! I’m not sure how I would wear it…lol. My favorite way right now is to pin one long so it follows the lines of a deep vee neck sweater.

  10. Those scarves are absolutely stunning. I can see them paired with a floaty white dress in the summer.

I follow you on Google Reader, and I updated my blog roll with your new name. So that’s 3 entries — I am really in love with those scarves; normally I don’t go to this much trouble. :)

  11. Well I’m going for all four!

I would wear it double looped around my neck in a circle with my yellow floral dress and loafers – cute!

  12. I wear large scarves like this with just about everything- from skirts and sweaters to jeans and a T. Love them- so vertisile! I would love to win!

I don’t tweet or blog so I get this is my one entry.

  13. Scarves are my new best friend…..I have been wearing them a lot on the weekends…..just dressing up the jeans and t’s.

  14. These scarves look perfect for spring/summer (can you tell I’m longing for warmer weather?) They’d be perfect paired with a simple tee and jeans/capris. I love the pink one.

  15. i would go ga-ga over the red scarf, styled much the same was as in the photo. or use it as a wrap + a pop of color against a simple LBD!

for a second entry, your blog is linked on my blogs blogroll.

(my blog is a new little baby, so we would love to have you come by and visit!)

  16. Gorgeous scarf – with it being lightweight and large there are so many options you could do with it! I’m envisioning the red one accented with bright turquoise for a fun spring look!

  18. Yay! I love giveaways… I would style this scarf over a white t shirt and belt it !
OMG i can already see me wearing this ! (I have a US address!!)

On another note thanks for commenting… I am 20 days going strong on my shopping ban…

  19. I also live in Florida (Jax), so this scarf would be awesome poking out of my standard light blue jacket for these standard “winter” days that begin in the 50s and end in the 70s. I love the color in the first picture, because it would match just about everything. :)

  20. Beautiful scarves; I’d wear them with a lightweight sundress or layered up with lots of flowing jersey in the winter.
