"What, no play?"

Last week, the weather gods were not smiling on Florida, as temps were in the eighties for several days.  Still, I was determined to not let that stop me from having fun on the weekend. And finding yet another cute way to wear my new Dansko Sally’s.

While this combination was fun, I’m not so sure how functional it was.  This skirt is a little snug, and the thickness of the leggings meant that my skirt was constantly riding up.  In the future, I would probably wear tights instead, or even go bare-legged (which I totally could have done, because it was that warm).  Still, it made for a fun, casual outfit.  And nothing is as fun as wearing a t-shirt from your local theme park and not caring if it might be tacky or ironic, because you simply love your favorite roller-coaster.

  1. I think it’s awesome that you have a roller coaster t-shirt! And I can tell those Danskos are going to go into heavy rotation. They’re wonderful!

  2. I love the leggings with the Danskos- it’s a combo I love for warmer months here. But yes riding up skirts can be annoying. The skirt may be just a hair too short perhaps? It would be interesting to see a post on which skirts and dresses work best with leggings.

  3. I can’t believe it’s in the 80s down there – we’re expecting a foot of snow tomorrow!

I hear you about leggings under denim. It’s a toughie – but the ankle-length looks fantastic with those Danskos.
