Sofft Oriole in Indigo Blue $108 (Zappos)
Lately, I’ve really been wanting some navy pumps. After seeing these on both Barking Dog Shoes and Low Fat Dressing, I’m really, really craving these shoes. The details on the t-strap are gorgeous, and I love the color. I’m not so sure about suede though, but I think with some weather-protectant spray, they’d be fine. I’ll be watching for these to go on sale.
Those are great looking shoes. I try to avoid wearing suede shoes if it’s wet, but I can’t avoid it 100% unless I put away my suede all winter. So I put leather protector on suede shoes at the beginning of winter, and touch them up any time they get really wet, and my shoes have remained in pretty good shape.
Man, it’s so sad–I love suede, but I live in the Pacific Northwest. Owning suede up here is about as useful as owning a diseased yak. Or shorts. I own two pairs of shorts, and they’ve lasted me ten years. I bought capris for the first time in my life during our unprecedented week-long heat wave (it went over 80 degrees! regularly!) this summer.
I like them- they sort of have a 40′s look but I can’t imagine paying $108 for a pair of shoes.
those shoes are to. die. for. GYAAAHH! too expensive for me, but a girl can fantasize, yes??
