You got a peek at this dress during my shopping ban post last week, but now I’d like to go into the details. This dress is absolutely going to become one of my wardrobe essentials. The neutral, rusty brown color offers plenty of opportunities for accessories. The deep v neck makes layering possibilities about. The nipped in waist looks great with a belt here, but it also looks lovely unadorned. And those super flattering sleeves are thin enough to accommodate cardigans and jackets. You’ll be seeing this one a lot.
This dress is so magically flattering, and I love that it’s an independent label bought at a boutique.
By the way, that cami layered underneath is my new little diy secret. I’ve always hated layering full camis under dresses or blouses, because it messes up the drape and can be uncomfortably warm. My solution came in taking this white cami and cutting off the bottom half, so that it is essentially a crop top. It works so much better in layering now.

Hi and welcome! I'm Diana, and this is my blog, Smiles Go With Everything. As the title suggests, I write about a little bit of everything, but the majority of my focus is on style and sustainability and how the two interconnect. In between are sprinklings of baking, gardening, crafting, and whatever I feel like sharing.

Flattering indeed! What a fab frock.
That is a great dress…it certainly does have infinite possibilities!
I love the blue accents with the color of the dress.
You really know your style for tops/dresses and they really do suit you. Catching up on a few of your posts at once.. I love the floaty dress you wore to the wedding. Brown really does suit you. I have to say that that google eyed owl brooch from Avon is so cute, I wish it was mine! And you and your brother look so sweet together. I loved the stripey dress you had on, especially the neckline.
I bought a brown top this week which someone shorter might wear as a dress like yours. Mine has a print on it, but I too love the brown colour and the possibilities for layering.
Great dress; you will definitely get a lot of mileage out of it.
I am LOVING your toenail polish! What color is that called?
