Daily Outfit: Remixing it up

With a limited amount of closet space, I have to make the best use of what I have in my wardrobe.  That means finding new and different ways to wear the same things over and over again.  This outfit, like many, was a combination of elements from several previous outfits.

I’ve worn this blazer with a dress before, but not this dress.  I’ve worn this dress with the pearls before.  And I’ve worn this dress with these shoes.  But by combining all these, I end up with a completely different outfit.

Some days it can be really hard to get creative.  I find that looking back at how I wore things before can sometimes inspire me and give me new ideas.

  1. I love the mix of the blues! And that jacket is GREAT over a dress. I’m so jealous it’s warm enough for that where you are!

  2. i love finding new ways to wear the same things repeatedly. it’s saving me a lot of money but i don’t feel deprived anymore! i love this blazer with that dress. the colors go beautifully together!

  3. Listen, when you pulled your entire closet out in your yard and photographed it, I was amazed by the number of pieces you had compared to the perception I get from your daily wear photos. I never, ever thing gosh that looks just like what she wore before .

So you do a great job of mixing and matching your pieces into something new.

And this is my favorite jacket.

  4. So lovely! Blue/green is such a nice color on you! And a short-sleeve blazer is one of my fave items for work (especially with this FL heat)!
