Daily Outfit: Lazy Days

A combination of summer heat and unemployment have left me not really in the mood to put together awesome outfits.  I’ve been spending most of my free time catching up on housework and running errands, so most days I’ve just been wearing jeans and t-shirts.  It’s just a bit harder to get motivated when you have the stress of not knowing when your next paycheck will be and your shrinking bank account looming over you.  Today was another day like that.  But I’m trying to find ways to spice things up, even on off days.  Today, my solution was to switch out a t-shirt for a printed jersey blouse, add some simple sterling jewelry, and add a pop with a gorgeous bag.

I’ve got an interview soon for a part-time position that will let me pay my bills and buy essentials with a very small bit to spare.  I’m hoping to combine that with substitute teaching one or two days a week, until I can get a full-time position as a media specialist.  Things should be looking up before too long.
