My Growing Morelle Collection

No Daily Outfit post today. I’m going to be doing yardwork and housework, and you really don’t want to see that get-up.  Instead, I thought I’d post some pictures of my growing Morelle collection.

A few weeks ago, I did a post on my wardrobe gaps, where I mentioned my longing for a red leather bag.  Little did I realize that family members were reading that post.  Guess what I received for graduation?

If you guessed “a gorgeous Morelle Truffle in Brick Red Leather” you’re correct!  I’d been wanting to get one of Morelle’s leather bags for awhile now, but with that whole budget thing (which there will be a post about on Saturday) I hadn’t been able to buy one.  So I was absolutely thrilled to receive this one last week. Thanks guys!

While I had this lovely little bag out for pictures, I figured it was time for a little Morelle bag photoshoot.

If you haven’t bought a Morelle bag yet, you should really consider one for your next Etsy purchase.  Her stuff is top notch, and the quality and craftsmanship just keeps getting better and better.  They’re definitely worth the price.

  1. I, too, love Morelle bags and have a bigger collection than yours. I’m a little sad, however, that she’s no longer making her great cloth bags, which were more affordable.

  2. I love Morelle! she is the first seller I purchased from on Etsy in fact. That is a great collection! I am very tempted to get a suede Oyster. Does yours have a shorter strap?

I have one Morelle bag that turned put to be a little too dressy for me. I’m putting it up on eBay soon. It’s a burgundy leather Morchella.

  3. Love the shot of your bags on that fence! How lovely is your new red bag? That is definitely going to last you a long time!

  4. Those bags are so cute! I love the red – can’t wait to see it with all your outfits! Its a great addition to your wardrobe.

  5. Congrats on the graduation and what a great family you have! I hope you’re going to do a modeling shot of the Truffle soon, because I’m dying to see tons of “in real life” pictures (instead of having to squint at the one modeling pic on Etsy ;) .

  6. It is really nice when I see the bags at their new homes. It was really sweet of whoever bought you the bag as a present and that you liked it :) Hope it will last you a long time and that you can match it to those cute outfits!

    Take care,
    Katie
